Amistad - one of the best films ever, an absolute masterpiece. I have never seen such an amazing movie since I saw Amistad the first time. Amistad stands out above all other movies I've seen in my life. Amistad has a reputation of one of the best films of all time. Director once again delivered us great piece of art. The acting is just incredible (especially Djimon Hounsou, I'm sure no one expected that). Amistad has many details and scenes that I really cannot get out of my mind since watching it for the first time. Amistad will live with the next generations of men, I'm certain of that. Movie of the century for me.

In 1839, the slave ship Amistad set sail from Cuba to America. During the long trip, Cinque (Djimon Hounsou) leads the slaves in an unprecedented uprising. Much of the story involves a court-room drama about the free man who led the revolt.
