Originally, I did not like it that much, I found it rather very boring, until I watched it for the second time alone, without friends. The Battle of Neretva is without doubt the best War movie, a new standard. I still remember the first time I watched The Battle of Neretva. It tells important lesson about how you should live your life to it's fullness. The direction is very sublime. Excellent pictures, tempo and scenes. The Battle of Neretva is one of those films where no sigle character gives a weak play. For real, it's very entertaining production.
